A range of rooms and spaces is available, suitable for a variety of activities and events, from concerts to counselling and support groups. Most areas are carpeted apart from the Peace Hall. Most areas are access friendly.
Seating for approx. 150 people.
This is the largest space with good acoustics suitable for concerts and large meetings. The dais and main body of the church can be arranged to suit individual needs. An electronic digital organ and grand piano are available. The public address system includes a loop installation for hearing aids. By opening dividing glass screens, the Friendship Room space (see below) can increase capacity (approx 200) for larger events.
The Friendship Room
Seating for approx 20 people
A room between the Concourse and the main church provides space for smaller meetings and group activities.
Seating for approx 30 people
At the front of the premises, with toilet for the disabled. Flooded with natural light, it gives a warm and welcoming feel and is suitable as a reception area for large events. The space has a variety of uses from meetings, training courses, Traidcraft shop and art groups.
Accessed from the Concourse is a modern kitchen, fully equipped to commercial standard with stainless steel sinks and work surfaces, cooker, industrial dishwasher and hot cupboard.
The Peace Hall
Seating for maximum 50 people.
A small hall, but larger than the Concourse, suitable for group activities, meetings and children’s parties. The hall benefits from its own entrance, toilet facilities, a sink and under floor heating on a wooden suspended floor, suitable for dancing.
Upper room & Vestry
Seating for 10 people (each room)
2 rooms suitable for small groups of up to 10 people, with own access and toilet facilities. The Vestry can be used as a confidential meeting room for counselling and support.
